Friend Ennyman rights a great piece on the role of incentives, here's the conclusion: "Whether it's meeting deadlines, forming good habits in our children or accomplishing projects in the workplace, good leadership involves finding incentives that work. If we're not seeing the results we want, we may do well to re-examine the incentives."

This year I'm having the pleasure of tutoring Martin Dugas for the Schmidt MacArthur Fellowship Programme. He was selected to be one of the 2017 Fellows.
